• Welcome

Just to give you a flavour of Willaston Grange Lodge, we've included a few pictures of the facilities and surrounding grounds.

The Lodge was built in 1903, the same year as the main house, Willaston Grange. The style is very evidently Art and Crafts - a delightful and faith-based movement focusing on simplicity and the use of local and natural materials.

This special place is a hundred yards from the House, has its own garden and looks over many acres of surrounding farmland. It is located just half a mile from the centre of Willaston which in turn is 8 miles from Chester. (15 minutes by train or car) and 15 miles from Liverpool (30 minutes by car and train).

The Lodge has a cottage feel - with kitchen, lounge with log burner and dining room. On the first floor, there is a bathroom with double, twin and
bunk bed rooms. There is a constant supply of heat and hot water! Fresh linen and towels are provided.

Ownership of the Lodge passed to The Mitchell Family in 2009 as part of the overall purchase of Willaston Grange. Anita and Mark have always sensed The Lodge has been provided as a means of welcoming those in need of a rest and a change of scenery.

We hope you enjoy your stay with us.
